Johnny Awesome has left the building!
John Zitting was a husband, father, brother, friend, co-worker… More than that, he was a man who loved life and embraced it fully. John adored his family and the three did everything together. As a builder, boss and mentor, John’s success came from his relationships. He cared deeply about his team and their individual triumphs which led to a very successful business. His crazy, light-hearted zest made anything possible and his passion navigating the river of life was infectious. Admirable and adventurous, John was the man everyone wanted to be around. With his signature style, contagious laugh and endless drive for excitement in life, each person he encountered knew they were in for lasting memories!
Brendan was a shy, lovable boy that grew into a great young man filled with awesomeness. Not only did he love his mom and dad, he loved spending time with them. A perfect blend of his incredible parents, Brendan was caring and respectful like his Mom, strong-willed and remarkable like Dad. Brendan approached every day with an open mind, an eagerness to learn and a distinct joyful spirit. He was a terrific swimmer and great at designing computer games. Brendan had so many talents and wonderful traits but the words from his best friend describe him best, “Spending time with Brendan felt like a dream because nothing bad ever seemed to happen. He just brought happiness everywhere with him.”
An aquatics scholarship is created in memory of Brendan Zitting at Westlake High School. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in his memory to:
